Dave Morris tells stories in everything he does. Whether he's writing a poem, song, or improvising a piece of theatre, even when he teaches class, he following a story arch. He believes that stories teach us the things we didn't learn in school. His one-man improvised storytelling show won Pick of the Fringe for best Comedy in 2011 and his show "Photo Booth" was selected to be part of the 2012 UNO festival.

Dave Morris is a poet
His spoken word poetry has been described as "funny, clever, and yet still romantic" relating to people from all walks of life. As a slam poet he has competed in Vancouver and Victoria and was a member of the 2009 and 2010 Victoria Slam teams. He performs as one half of the improvised spoken word duo SpeakEasy with his partner Missie Peters.

Dave Morris is an improviser
Dave Morris has worked with The Canadian Improv Games for over 10 years and is currently the Regional Director of the Vancouver Island Region. He's participated in improv festivals around the world including Seattle, Chicago, and Berlin. He also produces, performs and teaches improv regularly all around Victoria, and is the artistic director of Paper Street Theatre co.
Dave Morris has been teaching workshops for over a decade. His instruction has been described as honest and inspiring. He currently teaches workshops in improvisation and spoken word poetry for high school students and adults. He is available for classroom session, conferences, festivals and more. He also teaches regular improv classes in Victoria.
